The water from the thermal wells of Hajdúböszörmény earned "medicinal water" status in 2003. The first medicinal-therapeutical treatments began from the 1st of July, 2005. The therapies for the insured are financed by the social security system, but these therapies are also available for the non-insured as well.

Treatments can be combined in different ways, but prearrangement is required. The "Bocskai Medicinal Water" with its bromide, iodide, fluoride and Natrium-chloride contents offers excellent treatments for those with rheumatic, gynecological, thyroid and arthritic problems.
